Reaching millions with relevant media advertising solutions
Client?
USAID Communication for Healthy Communities (CHC) and USAID Malaria Program for Districts (MAPD) ● 2017 – 2019
What was the issue?
The mandate of the USAID CHC was to design and implement quality health communication interventions that contribute to reduction in HIV infections, total fertility, maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, malaria and tuberculosis (TB). CHC and partners implemented this through the Obulamu? integrated health communication platform using experiential and inter personal communication (IPC) activities, mass media, print and social media.
The focus of USAID MAPD was malaria SBCC programming that supplemented the efforts of USAID CHC. Both programmes required services to conduct targeted placement of various Obulamu? and Malaria campaign video content for different audiences and real time monitoring on TV screens in 50 buses plying upcountry routes and 150 health facilities across the country.
What did DreamLine do?
DreamLine created health facility and bus media advertising solutions and engagements. Technology support was provided through the ComConnect App, a game changer in SBCC initiatives that require narrowcasting.
What was different?
S4P Group created value-added solutions that complemented the audio/visual messages on the screens, using interpersonal engagements to clarify key health issues.
What was the impact?
The campaign directly reached 6,400,000 people in 68 districts with key interventions designed to reduce HIV infections, improve family planning, address maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, malaria and tuberculosis (TB).
